Aug 10, 2023 · I finally found smallest case that can fit my mATX mobo and ATX psu. Watercooling with custom loops, air cooling, AMD or Nvidia GPU’s, Intel or AMD CPU’s, SFX or ATX, MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte, Asus, Phanteks, Lian Li, Silverstone, Fractal Design, Cooler Master, Corsair, Inwin, Antec, Thermaltake, EKWB. There cases around, but none of them are very nice with tempered glass side. Sep 7, 2022 · The trouble is there really aren't good cases specialised for mATX, they are either highly space optimised ITX cases, or so called small cases but they support full ATX (like the Meshify C mini or O11 air). You can't just convert a build from ATX/mATX to ITX; not only do you need a smaller power supply, but you'll need to rethink your CPU cooling, your GPU (the specific model is important because they vary in both length and thickness), case fans, storage, everything. I wonder if there's other pros/cons going with mATX over ATX. Things like: Do mATX heat more because they are smaller? are mATX cases cases tend to heat more due to size? are they harder machine to build because everything is smaller and crammed? I personally got myself a NZXT Manta, which is a pretty expesnive ITX case, but I converted it to fit an mATX motherboard (there are guides online). and I haven't seen any x670 AMD motherboards in mATX. In 2024 it appears Gigabyte is the only manufacturer I can find who offers an mATX board in their top-end full-featured product line with the Z970 chipset, full-fat I/O, etc. 75-Slot, 340mm Long, 165mm Tall - CPU 158mm tall cooler - RAD Up to Dual 280mm Again, mATX I think is the sweet spot.
