In order to increase the volume of export, import and transit container transportation along the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran corridor, a meeting was organized between Uztemiryulkonteyner JSC and the Iranian company Vision Global Terminal.
The meeting was attended by the acting chairman of the board of UztemirYulContainer JSC M.K. Mirkhamidov, executive director of Vision Global Terminal Peiman Jafari, as well as relevant specialists.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of sending cargo from Uzbekistan to India and Brazil through the Vision Global Terminal terminal in the port of Bandar Abbas, reducing the time of transit transportation, as well as using the capabilities of the terminal at the Sarakhs station, the launch of which is scheduled for April.
