JSC UZTEMIRYULKONTAINER and GANSU INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS GROUP ARE INTENSIFYING COOPERATION TO INCREASE CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION VOLUMES

To increase container shipping volumes by at least 1.5 times by 2030, representatives of UztemirYulKonteyner JSC and Gansu International Logistics Group held a working meeting at the Gansu International Land Port (Lanzhou).

The parties inspected key infrastructure facilities: a container terminal, a car handling area, a bulk cargo terminal, and a modern refrigeration complex for refrigerated containers.

The delegation also visited the headquarters of Gansu International Logistics Group, where they learned about digital solutions for logistics and rolling stock management.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to launch container trains on new routes:

China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan – Tajikistan/Turkmenistan.

The pilot route is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

The companies confirmed their commitment to strengthening their partnership in multimodal transportation and developing transport links across the Eurasian region.
