On July 8, 2025, during a visit to China, M.K. Mirkhamidov, Chairman of the Board of JSC UztemirYulKonteyner, held talks with Mr. Zhang Yong, Head of the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province.
The parties discussed priority areas for developing bilateral cooperation, specifically increasing rail transport volumes at the national level, strengthening transit potential, and joint efforts to attract freight traffic along the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan route and beyond.
In turn, Mr. Zhang expressed his willingness to extend subsidies on this route, which creates favorable conditions for the development of sustainable freight service along the Gansu-Kashgar-Central Asia route.
As part of the regular session of the International Logistics and Trade Forum, the ceremonial opening of JSC UztemirYulKonteyner's assembly point in the Lanzhou Free Economic Zone, in partnership with Gansu International Logistics Group, took place. The collection point is designed to consolidate cargo from UztemirYulKonteyner's clients for onward shipment.
Furthermore, to further develop partnerships, UztemirYulKonteyner has signed a memorandum of cooperation with several Chinese logistics companies.
