
A delegation led by Ilkhom Makhkamov, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade; and Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, visited the construction site of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, currently under construction in Georgia, and learned in detail about the development of port infrastructure and the progress of construction.

The delegation also visited the Poti Free Industrial Zone, where they learned about the activities of enterprises operating within the zone, as well as their production facilities. During the visit, the transit and logistics potential of the Poti port was comprehensively examined.

The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in transport and logistics, increasing cargo volumes, and implementing mutually beneficial projects in promising areas of cooperation.
