The first direct "Slavic Caravan" block train, launched on July 30, 2026, from the Orsha-Vostochnaya station (Republic of Belarus), has successfully arrived at the Chuqursoy station in Tashkent.
The solemn welcoming ceremony for the train was attended by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the leadership of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and heads of the railway industry. During the event, it was noted that the implementation of the project is of great importance for the further development of international cargo transportation and the strengthening of transport and logistics cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As part of the project, the first block train covered a route of about 4 thousand kilometers in just 6 days. The new transport service has become an important step in developing international cargo transportation and strengthening trade and economic ties between Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Central Asian states.
