On August 26–27 of this year, negotiations were held in Tashkent between UztemirYulKonteyner JSC and the Chinese company Xinjiang Union of International Railway Logistics Co. Ltd.
During the meeting, the key objectives of the joint venture UTK International Logistics Co. Ltd., issues of operational efficiency, and prospects for the development of regional transport corridors were discussed.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to implement multimodal freight transportation from Uzbekistan to China along the Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan–China route.
Furthermore, regular freight transportation from China to Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is planned to be expanded within the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan transport corridor.
