According to Decree No. PP-28 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 27, 2025, the objectives have been set for the widespread implementation of multimodal transportation and an increase in the share of national transport operators specializing in 3PL and higher services.
To create favorable conditions for users of logistics services and reduce transportation costs, the first container train consisting of 57 flatcars operated by UztemirYulKonteyner JSC successfully departed from Tashkent to Altynkol (Kazakhstan).
The block train, comprising 57 containers with consolidated cargo, is scheduled to travel 1,300 km in two days.
As part of the cooperation between UztemirYulKonteyner JSC and the Kazakh company Kedentransservice JSC, the return loading of these cars along the Altynkol-Tashkent route is planned.
JSC UztemirYulKonteyner will continue to expand its rolling stock and reduce transportation costs on export-import routes.
