On June 8-9 of this year, a six-party meeting was held to discuss increasing freight traffic volumes along the CASCA+ international transport corridor and further developing its activities. The event was attended by A.A. Kamiljanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekistan Railways, as well as heads and representatives of the railway administrations of Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, a thorough exchange of views took place on the current status and development prospects of the CASCA+ corridor, and the following key issues were discussed:
🔹Analysis of the work carried out and the results achieved within the corridor for 2025 and the first quarter of 2026;
🔹Proposals to improve the efficiency of the transportation process, reduce transit times, and improve the quality of services provided;
🔹Review of current tariff conditions for freight transportation and the development of a competitive tariff policy;
🔹existing problems and limitations arising in the corridor's operation, as well as practical measures to address them.

Following the meeting, the participants signed a six-party agreement (protocol) aimed at further developing the CASCA+ corridor, increasing freight traffic volumes, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties.
