On July 4 of this year, a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, on a working visit to Georgia, familiarized themselves with the operations of the Batumi Sea Port and Batumi International Container Terminal, located in Batumi. During the visit, the delegation members were briefed on the port's infrastructure, cargo handling capacity, and the container terminal's technical capabilities.
The parties discussed the organization of Uzbekistan's import and export cargo shipments through this port to countries in Europe and Latin America, as well as the efficient use of its logistics potential.
It was noted that this visit will contribute to the further strengthening of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia, as well as the development of regional transport and logistics ties.
