In order to develop international transport corridors and increase the level of provision of logistics services, on March 5 of this year, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of Uztemiryulcontainer JSC A.S. Kamalov and commercial director of the Chinese company "Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co. Ltd." Nancy Tang.
Nancy Tang noted the favorable conditions created by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Chinese companies. She also reported that management plans to invest about 10-15 million US dollars for the construction of a transport and logistics center in Uzbekistan.
Detailed information about the Chinese company was provided. "Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Co. Ltd." The company was founded in 2002 and has its own logistics centers in more than 10 provinces of China, European countries, Central Asia, and Singapore. In 2023, the company launched about 100 container trains on the routes China-Europe, China-Central Asia from the provinces of Xi'an, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. The company specializes in multimodal transportation and owns 25,000 of its own containers.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation on the joint use of logistics centers of Uztemiryulcontainer JSC, the creation of new logistics centers, the establishment of distribution services, and the joint use of wagons and containers were discussed.
In particular, proposals were made to create modern A+ category warehouses in Uzbekistan to provide distribution services.
Issues of cooperation on the implementation of container transportation from the provinces of Xi'an, Chengdu, Shenzhen along the multimodal route "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan", along existing transport corridors to Turkey and European countries were also discussed.
