On July 6, 2025, as part of the 31st Investment and Trade Fair held in Lanzhou, People's Republic of China, a four-party meeting was held between representatives of UztemirYulKonteyner JSC, the Embassy of Afghanistan in China, Xinjiang Union of International Railway Logistics Co. Ltd., and the state-owned logistics operator Gansu International Logistics Group Co. Ltd.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for developing the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Afghanistan multimodal transport corridor. Particular attention was paid to increasing traffic volumes along this route, the rapid launch of return container shipments from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan to China, and the development of logistics infrastructure. In particular, the possibility of constructing joint terminals in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was discussed.
In addition, representatives of JSC UztemirYulKonteyner took part in an investment forum held as part of the fair, where investment opportunities and the transport and logistics potential of the People's Republic of China were presented.
