Representatives of JSC “O‘ztemiryo‘lkonteyner”, as part of a delegation led by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, paid a working visit to Urumqi, People’s Republic of China.
During the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with Urumqi’s transport and logistics infrastructure facilities, modern and innovative technologies introduced in the sector, as well as the opportunities offered by the Urumqi Free Trade Zone.
As part of the working visit, a meeting was held with representatives of one of China’s major logistics companies — Xinjiang Commercial Logistics. During the talks, the parties discussed cargo consolidation at the company’s logistics center, as well as the implementation of promising joint investment and logistics projects.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the development of modern warehousing infrastructure in Uzbekistan to support e-commerce, as well as the possibilities for the temporary storage and distribution of Chinese products at the logistics centers of JSC “O‘ztemiryo‘lkonteyner”.
