In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-57 dated February 16, 2023 "On measures to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies" and the action plan approved by the management of JSC Uzbekistan Temir Yollari on January 30, 2024, in order to save electricity:
According to the plan for 2024, in September a solar power plant with a capacity of 15 kW was installed in the Bukhara logistics center, as well as in the Ulugbek logistics center - with a capacity of 10 kW, with a total capacity of 25 kW.
The introduction of alternative energy sources in two logistics centers made it possible to produce an average of 2,400 kWh of electricity per month and achieve electricity savings of an average of 26%.
Agreement was reached that these logistics centers will sell surplus electricity to regional power grids at established rates based on directly concluded contracts.
