In order to further improve the level of transport and logistics services in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and create additional convenience for entrepreneurs, a new open customs warehouse with a total area of 1,110 square meters was put into operation on the territory of the Nukus logistics center.
This warehouse was created with the support of regional customs representatives and is equipped with modern infrastructure and security systems. The warehouse not only provides the opportunity for temporary storage of goods, but also carries out customs operations, and carries out multimodal transportation.
It is worth noting that starting from 2020, in cooperation with the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC Uztemiryulkonteyner organized customs warehouses with a total area of 15,000 square meters of open type and 6,200 square meters of closed type. meters of closed type in the logistics centers of Raustan, Margilan, Kokand, Jizzakh, Ulugbek, Termez and Bukhara, through which services for loading, unloading, storage and customs clearance of goods are effectively provided.
