Since 2018, JSC "Uztemiryulkonteyner" has been actively developing domestic freight transportation in Uzbekistan using container express trains. The company provides transport and logistics services for the transportation of containers to small businesses and private entrepreneurs.
Container express trains are formed from 20-50 containers sent along one route. This allows cargo to be delivered by rail without unnecessary stops, much faster and at more affordable prices than separately by wagon transportation.
The bulk of containers imported to Uzbekistan arrive at large logistics centers in Tashkent. They are then sent to other regions of the country using domestic express trains.
From 2018 to 2023, "Uztemiryulkonteyner" JSC launched express trains from Tashkent to the Fergana, Namangan, Andijan and Samarkand regions.
In 2024, express trains were launched from Tashkent to the Jizzakh and Bukhara regions, as well as on the Ablik - Andijan - Ablik route.
To date, more than 600 container express train shipments have been carried out on these domestic routes.
In early September this year, "Uztemiryulkonteyner" JSC launched an express train on the Nazarbek - Urgench route. The first express train, sent from Nazarbek station, covered a distance of 1033 km in 38 hours - three times faster than usual, arriving at the Urgench logistics center.
JSC "Uztemiryulkonteyner" continues to work on the further development of domestic cargo transportation and expansion of container express train routes.
